Personal background

Dr Mina has been Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Business Research (CBR) since 2007. He is also University Lecturer in the Economics of Innovation at Cambridge Judge Business School. Between 2009 and 2014 he was a Research Associate of the UK Innovation Research Centre, a joint initiative of the University of Cambridge and Imperial College London, and since 2010 he has been part of the Centre for Science and Policy Fellows Network. 

Dr Mina has been Co-investigator and Principal Investigator of several projects funded, among others, by the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), the Medical Research Council (MRC), the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA), the Council for Industry and Higher Education, the Technology Strategy Board (TSB) and the European Commission. 

He is a member of the International Schumpeter Society, the Academy of Management and the Strategic Management Society. He is Associate Editor of the journal Industry and Innovation.
