J S Liptrap read law at the Universities of Cambridge and Edinburgh and practised as a corporate lawyer for a large international firm. His research interests lie, broadly, at the intersection of comparative corporate governance, political economy and social enterprise law. He is recognised by the European Commission’s Euclid Network as an expert in social enterprise law. His work has appeared in a number of leading journals including the Cambridge Law Journal, the Cambridge Yearbook of European Legal Studies, the European Business Organization Law Review, the European Company and Financial Law Review, the Journal of Corporate Law Studies and the Modern Law Review. He is a contributor to the Columbia Law School Blue Sky Blog and the Oxford Business Law Blog. He is a member of the European Corporate Governance Institute.
