Antara Haldar

Research Associate

Dr Antara Haldar is University Lecturer in Empirical Legal Studies at the University of Cambridge’s Faculty of Law, specialising in law and development, law and economics and legal theory.

She received her PhD from Cambridge in 2010, and holds degrees in both law and economics – from Trinity College, Cambridge and St Stephen’s College, University of Delhi respectively. Before returning to teach at Cambridge, she held prestigious positions as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Columbia University’s Committee on Global Thought (chaired by Joseph Stiglitz & Saskia Sassen) and as a Jean Monnet Global Governance Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies at the European University Institute.
