Research Associate

Research

Anna’s research focuses on the development of economic and geographic data sets from various UK company databases; survey design and management, and statistical analysis. Her recent projects include: Academic Survey (2015-2016); Cambridge Ahead: The Cambridge Corporate Database & Regional GrowthSME Performance and Policy; Open Innovation; The 2007 UK Survey of SME Finances; and International Innovation Benchmarking and the Determinants of Business Success.

She has expertise in questionnaire design, survey management and data analysis and has provided technical and statistical input into many articles in medical and social science publications.

Personal background

Anna studied at Uppsala University Sweden and before joining the CBR worked on epidemiological and other medical surveys for the Medical Research Council in London and Cambridge and on large social science surveys at Birkbeck College, London University. She became involved with economic and business data analysis whilst at working at the University of Leeds.
