MPhil in Finance students come from all parts of the world, with no part playing a dominant role. The students and faculty form a terrific cultural and discipline pool, which creates a stimulating environment to teach and learn – and to make friendships around the globe that last a lifetime.

Students on the MPhil in Finance will normally have a first class degree from a well-recognised university. Such bright students make for stimulating classes, but also a rapid pace. Class sizes vary from year to year, but are typically 23-26.

The discipline backgrounds are diverse, ranging from economics, finance, and accounting, to engineering, physics and computer science. Depending on your course choices, you will share some of your classes with other students on the MPhil in Economics, Part III of the Maths Tripos, MPhil in Statistical Science or Master in Finance.
