“The Management Studies Tripos is an invaluable opportunity for current undergraduates from all disciplines to develop a business instinct, to hone key business skills, and to develop a deeper understanding of management practice. I found the programme’s amalgamation of the teaching of the theoretical underpinnings of management practice with the provision of real-life examples and experiences to have provided me with a clear, comprehensive and well-rounded business understanding which will hold me in good stead throughout my future. In addition to enhancing my numerical, analytical, and quantitative skills, the MST programme provided me with opportunities to apply, inter alia, my leadership, management and negotiation skills. The Consulting Project in particular allowed me to apply the principles I learned throughout the year and to advise leading companies on their strategic, financial and other interests. I found all this to be a welcoming learning experience, and one which I recommend to undergraduates from all disciplines who are interested in the business world, in honing and obtaining key management skills, and in gaining a thorough and hands-on understanding of the principles underlying management practice in an intellectually rigorous fashion.

“As Student Representative to Cambridge Judge Business School, I had the opportunity to be part of the Cambridge Judge Business School Faculty Board that seeks to provide Cambridge Judge Business School’s student body with the very best learning experience, and to provide them with a world-class business education. I can state with confidence this to be the case in practice.”

Biography

Levi was born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium. He obtained his high school degree at the age of 15, after having studied the last three years of high school in three months; indeed, the Flemish Central Exam Commission in a statement called this achievement “an extraordinary accomplishment”. Upon obtaining his high school degree, Levi chose to learn more about his heritage and studied Talmudic Law at Yeshiva, first in the United Kingdom, and then more advanced studies in Israel. Subsequently, Levi pursued the Law Tripos at Downing College, University of Cambridge, and then the Management Studies Tripos at Cambridge Judge Business School for an extra and final year.

In addition to having obtained excellent grades throughout all his courses, Levi contributed to the student body in his position as Student Representative to the Faculty Board of Cambridge Judge Business School, and as Student Representative on the Business School Teaching Committee. From the many opportunities provided by Cambridge Judge Business School, Levi most values not only the opportunities to hone his numerical, analytical and leadership skills hands-on, but also, and importantly, the natural business instinct Cambridge Judge Business School instilled in him and his fellow students. The Management Studies Tripos has been invaluable in providing Levi with the leadership and management skills he has today.
