Simon Turner

Research Associate

Simon is a Senior Lecturer in Health Policy and Organisation in the Centre for Primary Care at the University of Manchester. I previously held research positions at University College London, King’s College London, the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, and the University of Cambridge. My research interests lie in the application of social science theory and methods (particularly ethnography) to the study of the organisation and improvement of public services, particularly health care. I am currently leading a study funded by the Health Foundation on the role of evidence in decision-making on innovation. The study protocol has been published in Implementation Science.
