Personal Background

Colm joined the Centre for Business Research in 2006 as an ESRC post-doctoral fellow and researcher on the Gender Inequality and Corporate Governance project. He is a graduate of the University of Auckland (BA and MComm) and holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge (Judge Business School and Darwin College). Previously he was a lecturer in Management and Employment Relations at the University of Auckland (1998-2000), and has held management positions in local government and the hospitality sector. He is currently a lecturer in Industrial Relations and Human Resources at the Smurfit School of Business, University College Dublin.
